Finally, The Amazing Sound That This Amplifier Delivered - EX-M1+ Integrated Amplifier

I replaced my Audiolab 8300a Intergrated Amp with Kinki Studio’s EX-M1+ after seeing numerous reviews of the EX-M1+ where the majority of reviewers raved about the EX-M1+ in terms of build quality, pedigree of components used, the comparison to other Integrated Amplifiers costing a lot more, and finally, the amazing sound that this amplifier delivers.

I installed my EX-M1+ the day it arrived (took 4 working days from China) on the 21st December and have had it running continuously since then to burn it in. I am using the EX-M1+ with the following:

- Wharfedale EVO 4.4 loudspeakers

- Wharfedale EVO 4.C centre channel speaker (for Home Theatre ByPass)

- Eversolo DMP-A6 Streamer/DAC

- Rega RP3 Turntable (connected to Icon Audio PS2 Phono-Stage)

- Rupert Neve RNHP Headphone Amplifier

-REL T9x Subwoofer

The HT BYPASS feature of the EX-M1+ is great as it allows one to use their existing Home Theatre Amplifier/Receiver with the EX-M1+ driving the front loudspeakers, while your existing Home Theatre Amp can drive the other speakers. You get the best of both worlds in other words; Home Theatre for movies, and the EX-M1+ for audiophile-grade listening sessions with two speakers.

I also use the EX-M1+ in pre-amp only mode to drive my Rupert Neve Headphone Amplifier.

Kinki Studio’s customer service is top-notch and they kept me well-informed as my order progressed. They also followed up about a week after taking delivery of the EX-M1+ to check if I had set it up and what my first impressions were.

Needless to say, the experience and improvement in sound quality is just remarkable at this price point.

I would absolutely recommend the EX-M1+ to anyone looking to upgrade their existing Integrated Amp or starting their audiophile journey.
